How much do you feed your british giants?

Phoenix currently gets as much hay as he wants, and a rabbit ceramic bowl full of allan and page pellets
Does he eat too much pellets?

It could be, depends how big the bowl is? I use an old washing powder scoop (!) and give one full scoop between my BGxFrench lop and my dwarf lop.

I do give them veg twice a day and they free range during the day so eat a lot of grass in addition to their hay.

You could weigh your rabbit to get an idea if he seems within the correct range?

I have two giant contis, and I give then 2 handfuls between them. :wave:

i have 2 contis and they get 2 handfulls too plus veg hay and freerange of the grass and plants lol

Ooooh dear, guess i'll have to start cutting down then and giving him more veggies instead!

It can depend on age too, as under 6 months it is generally ok to feed pellets ad lib, and cut back once their main growing spurt is over.

Good idea to get him weighed
