Rabbits & Guinea Pigs "low maintainence"

Not sure if anyone here reads the Sunday Mail but there's a free magazine with it that always has a couple of pages about pets, this week in the question page they recommended rabbits and guinea pigs almost as practice pets! (The question is a few down in the link.) he also states that if the kids look after the rabbit then they could get a "larger" pet in the coming years! Now I'm not sure about guinea pigs but my rabbits are just as high maintainence as my dog! He never mentioned anything about their needs either!

Just thought I'd share the link to see if anyone else finds this irresponsible?

Haha - my rabbits take up a hell of a lot of my time! More so than my dogs sometimes so yes, very irresponsible to publish information like that!
