Are Citronella plants safe for bunnies?

Does any one know? I was thinking of growing some in the garden to try and keep off the flies and midges this summer. Thanks

Don't know about citronella, but lavendar and lemon balm are. I grow some outside my hutches and use it for treats too!

I am not sure and havn't researched into it but as its now banned in horse products (due to a small percentage having bad reactions to it) its maybe not worth the risk without more reading.

Could you grow it in hanging baskets or wall baskets away from bunnies reach.
