I have no idea what mushy peas are. Are they real peas? I give Julie an eatable pea pod as a treat.

I wouldn't, peas aren't recommended as they're too starchy and who knows what weird processes the mushy ones have gone through aswell. why do you want to feed your bun mushy peas?! a bit of carrot would be fine if you want to treat him.

I thought it was a joke?

Mushy peas are cooked with bicarbonate of soda and salt, not good for bunnies at all. pretty much all peas and beans are on the no list anyway. Also I cant imagine giving a bunny any cooked veg.

I had never heard of mushy peas. That sounds yucky. Rabbits can have an raw edible pea pod as a special treat once in a while. At least it is listed as a food that they can have on most rabbit can have foods list. Julie loves them.
