does anyone have a recipe for haycakes?

I hate throwing the bits of hay from the bottom of my bag away but there comes a point where it is just too small to put out. I am sure it would make lovely haycakes but I don't know how to do it. Any ideas?

I get bags of hay that have rosehip, mint, camomile or dandelions added to them so the last bits of hay often have lots of yummy bits in too.

Thanks

Emma

You could mix them with a bit of soggy porridge (made with water, not milk) and bake at a low temperature (150ish C?) until dry - wouldn't give too many at one time because of the porridge though, but imagine it would have the right consistancy to 'glue' the hay together.
Or if the pieces were small enough, you could skip out the baking and give a waterly gloopy porridge with hay mixed in
