  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

How long dose it take for a rabbit to settle in? x

i havent got it yet, they are my easter pressants,me and my little brothers,2 lion heads and theres another one to, but thats a english dutch, and they will be 10 weeks the friend rabbit 12 weeks.:D

Will they all be living together?
If so they should settle in pretty quickly, they will have each other for company:D

 I dont know if you know but to live happily together your buns will have to be neutered or speyed to avoid fighting and unplanned babies.
Do you know if they are boys or girls that you're getting?

they will be getting neuted, or spayed the 2 boys will do and the sister of them will be getting seporatedd untill shes spayed, then we will reunite them together, but will they still do it?,even though they are spayed and neuted, they will be back together a about 1-2weeks after they have been nueted, one of the boys already has been neuted. x

Well done you!!! :D
Really the boys need to be kept separate from the girls for 6 weeks after their Neuter as they can still be fertile during this time.
When you reunite them all back together you will need to put them in neutral territory for a while to avoid anybun being agressive over 'their' territory. However you might already know this as you seem to have done your research :thumb:
Well done! Cant wait to see piccies of them all!
