Carriers - advice please

I have decided I need a slightly bigger carrier for transporting my buns - I have seen quite a few that are designed for cats but I was just wondering if any one has any recomendations for a rabbit carrier please?

i like the ones which you can open at side and the top as well as split in half for storage. i have ones which allow them to fully lie down and fit 2 medium bunnys without any fuss.. i bought them from a local shop £15 each... they are similar to these ones... but mine is grey not sure about size 2 cariers facing each other cover fully my back car seat of mondeo.http://www.pets2home.co.uk/item--Gulliver-3-Open-Top-Pet-Carrier-61x40x38cm--603541.html

sits on the thread waiting to see anything.........

Like you I need to upgrade. I think looking at it I need an atlas 40/50 or similar for my 4 to stretch out. I have an atlas 30 at the moment but with panda in it to it is a bit of a squeeze.

One that open at the top are great but I don't think they do them big enough for me. The large size (3) is ok for two medium bunnies but not any more for longer distance.

I'd go for something like this if you can afford it: http://www.zooplus.com/shop/dogs/dog_cages_carriers/carriers/plastic_cages/129675

Bit more space but also both top and front opening, makes it much easier to get buns in and out!

My cats have a huge transporter on wheels, it's a complete godsend as I don't have to carry it and Geoffrey gets very claustrophobic in a carrier and it is big enough that both cats can share it and he can sit right up. The pair of them sit and peer out the window on the way to the vets now

that is the exact one i have!!!!! oh my god where didi you find that link.. not sure if its same size tho.. must go measure mine!!! x

I use a cat carrier, but I only have 1 bun.
You can open it in half if you undo the clips, which is good for when stubborn bunnies would come out on their own!
Only cost a few quid at home bargins too.

oooohhh I think that's what I need. I think it's bigger that the Atlas I was looking at and about half the price!!!!

Many thanks santa!!!!

Think they might be a bit small for all my buns :( Are the Atlas' good? Ive heard good things about them?

I have a "Clipper 2" from Jollyes for £31. It opens on the front and also on top. I think it's pretty stylish too

You can buy it in varous sizes. Clipper 1 is the smallest. I got the Clipper 2, although two buns would fit easily into the Clipper one, I thought for £3 more I might as well give them the extra room to be comfortable.

Apparently it's airline approved as well, but my bunnies aint getting on no plane fool!

my current atlas has lasted 2 years of being jumped on and dug by various bunnies as it is always in their utility room. It's been dropped (not with bunnies in)...taken apart, put back together....it's even made a home for 8 baby bunnies to snuggle in this winter when I put it in the top level of their hutch...very solid & well made.

Ok I think the Atlas 50 is the one for me the cheapest I have seen them is £90 though has anyone seen them cheaper anywhere please?
