I am thinking of moving out but I would have to take my animals with me. I have two rabbits, Rosie (Polish) is 8yrs in March 09 and Jessica (lionhead) is 6yrs in August 09. They're neutered, vacc'd and live in a double hutch with run outside. When I was younger we moved house with our rabbits but the buns were all under three years old so they all managed okay. Are house moves particularly bad with older rabbits? Jessica isn't an 'old' 5.5 year old so I think she'd be fine but for the past couple of winters Rosie has got a runny nose and at the moment is on septrin (after baytril didn't work) for a 'mild respiratory infection'. I'm not moving any time soon, soonest will be April if anything, but is it a bad idea to move rabbits at that age? Rosie will surely be better by then. Do you just go on how you think they will cope with a move?
