We were at our local animal food store, when I spotted some dried danelion. Milly was speyed yesterday and I find danelion great for getting them to eat, unfortunately all our grass/weeds are covered with snow. I did buy a bag of spinach, and i avoid putting hay in as I worry it will irritate the wound.
Anyway, we took her home, popped her in the dog crate in the spare bedroom and I put some of the dried stuff in. She was off, straight into it and had a bit of spinach, she hasn't looked at her mix.
There are poops in her cage this morning, not many and she is eating OK. So far I haven't needed to use metochloprimide, so its looking good.
The vet has done a very neat job of her wound, although, she has a bigger wound than normal because she was a bit fat.
That 5 girls down, just 2 more to go- Treacle and Molly.
