Charlie got fixed!!
I have a 3 legged "Bunny" named Charlie. He had previously had a leg amputated locally following a day out in the fields with the locals!! (We have a farm and Charlie, who is a house rabbit used to pop out during the day and socialise!) He came back one dusk holding his front leg and it was taken off!
Last Feb (2010), I had customers in my office, where Charlie lives and looks after my comoputer, etc., I went down and left a door open which allowed Ruby, our new rescue dog to get up to Charlie. He scarpered and whilst Ruby did not actually touch him, in trying to run so quickly with only three legs, he broke the other front one!
Local vets referred us to Francis! She was absolutely fantastic and repaired a terrible break. Mr Harcourt-Brown actually performed the surgery, which included plates, pins and a retaining brace! Charlie stayed in "hospital" a couple of weeks and then had to be returned for another 2 days to have all the pins removed.
One year on, he is happy, runs around as if nothing had ever happened to him and really enjoys life to the full, all thanks to Francis, her husband and fantastic nursing staff!
Cannot recommend them enough....any "bunny problems", get off to Harrogate!
