Tutorial of Using Dremel/Peticure Tools to trim nails the way hospital does

Happy Hopping

Wise Old Thumper
All the vet hospitals over here using the Dremel Rotary tool to sand down the nails instead of using nail clipper. The reason is -- click this link and view the video:

But the Dremel Rotary Tool itself is dangerous for obvious reason. So the above same co., make an adapter that works around the globe.

The PETICURE Safe Guard is made to fit the following Dremel Rotary Tools

• 100 Series Rotary Tool
• 200 Series Rotary Tool
• 400 Series XPR Rotary Tool
• 300 Series Variable Speed Rotary Tool
• Digital Rotary Tool
• Variable Speed MultiPro® Rotary Tool
• 10.8V Dremel Lithium-ion Cordless.

DOES NOT WORK WITH THE SPECIALTY SERIES 7.2 MULTIPRO, (MINIMITE®) OR STYLUS™ MODELS

I bought one and I'm very happy with it. And this is how it works:

Step 1) The adapter c/w 2 parts, the beige color adapter component and the transparent plastic cap

2) Push the silver button on the Dremel and loosen the light grey color part on the Dremel

3) Push the Dremel sanding tool back to the slot

4) Screw on by rotating the Beige color Peticure adapter to the Dremel

5) Snap on the transparent cap onto the beige color Peitcure adapter, you can see the circular hole. The transparent cap c/w 8 different diameter holes. You insert the tip of the bunny's nail into the hole, as the sander rotates, it sands down the nail. It's very safe and simple. The cap contains the nail powder, when done, just clean off the powder.
