How do you train your rabbit to use a litter tray?

When i got kermit he peed in one corner of the cage, i just put the litter tray there and now he uses that! I was lucky

In my experience some get it and some don't.

When they go to the toilet elsewhere in their cage, pick it up and put it in the litter tray.
I found my male was less happy to do it before he was neutered, but once he was neutered he wanted to be cleaner (thank god )

Mine quite crazily just used it, but yea put their muck in the litter tray and when cleaning the litter tray don't clean it really well or else you can clean away their scent and your back to square one.

conveniently, one of my bunnies just used it :? however he still 'does his business' elsewhere, but mostly in his litter tray
