Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Vet near High Wycombe?

Hi, I need to find a new rabbit savvy vet. My current one is fine for basics but I would like to find someone with a bit more knowledge. High Wycombe, Amersham, Beaconsfield are all drivable from my house. I've done internet searches and not had any luck. Any recommendations?

I have looked on there, but for exotics or a rabbit specialist and there in no one in my area:( I was hoping that someone who lived near me already had a fab vet that they reccommended.

It takes me an hour or more to get to Watford depending on what the M25 is doing.....thanks though.

Hiya, I live in West Wycombe and I recently had a GI stasis problem with my rabbit, Smudge.

Never having a rabbit before we were a bit panicky and resorted to the first search result on Google.... http://www.vetswycombe.co.uk/ (Crossroads Vet)

We had to call the on-call vet out (who hit us for a bill of £115 for out-of-hours callout + meds) who seemed fine with being woken up by a pair of frantic new bunny owners at 3am!

Anyway, despite the price (which, to be honest I was happy to spend on Smudge rather than beer!) the care and consideration we were given was amazing. I was suitably grilled about rabbit care and given some welcomed advice on preventing the problem from occurring again.

So yea, sorry for the late response but if you're still looking I'd definately recommend Crossroads!
