Its a Nikon SLR... have wanted one for ages so me and my OH bought it for each other. Haven't tried it on much other than rabbits and dogs yet though.

And the buns always want to investigate, hence the really close ups!

This one of Pippin is brilliant for showing the detail it can get - its accidentally slightly artistic!

but why do modern cameras have such crappy auto-focus ? often pictures have blurry areas that do my eyes in when I stray from the subject in focus

my girlf's canon is the same

secretly I suspect its the humans at fault and not the camera

still trying to get an action shot.... would love one of Wispa on her back!

and yes i think the blurry bit is often human error... though i quite like it and i can be artistic when you get the right bit in focus- which is not always when your subject moves quickly! You do it by manipulating the aperture if I remember the term from my photography learning days correctly!
