Is this a good buy for my house buns?

Hi,

I have 3 house buns and I was thinking about getting this for their room for when I need to keep them contained:

I've just been closing the door but I hate feeling like I'm shutting them away. I know I'll probably have to put some mesh or something on it incase the bars are too far apart.

What do you think?

I think it seems a good idea, but yes, like you said i agree that youll probably have to put mesh over it.
(just also be sure your buns cant jump over it!!)

I'd be worried about them getting their heads stuck in the gaps or squeezing through - I have exactly the same one but it's a dog gate and about 18 inches taller.

I'd recommend a Croft panel and fix it to the inside of the doorframe with about 4 or 6 cuphooks.

Croft's stuff is top quality. I've had a dog crate of theirs for about 15 years and it's still like new. Went for a cheaper one for the TM's crate and it's nowhere near as sturdy or robust.

It works great as obviously he can't get through it, but it is a barrier rather than a gate so if you want to keep going into the room then it may be a bit inpractical. They are about £20 from Toys R Us or Mothercare, I have a spare one that I would sell cheaper but with postage I doubt it'd be much cheaper than a new one.

oh thast good - we have that for andy in the kitchen but i wouldput mesh on the bottom though
