Bunny's Bald Patch

Lumpkins

New Kit
Hello all
I have a young (about 6 months) longhaired lionhead called Fuzzy Lumpkins who is not quite as fuzzy as before. He's spent the last few weeks at my mum's house as I have had lots of university work and was worried I wouldn't have time to give him the care/attention he needs. He's back with me now and I've noticed a prominent bald patch above his tail on his lower back. Its about 2inches by 1 inch, it doesn't look sore and he doesn't seem to be bothered by it but I'm worried its a sympton of something being not quite right. I asked my mum about it and she said she hadn't even noticed the bald patch so it wasn't caused by anything she did I don't think.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thankyou! :)

Thanks for the link, took a look and it looks like thats the problem - poor lumpkins :( My mum said she'd struggled to groom him, he usually only lets me do it, and being longhaired i think thats whats caused it. He's started trying to get at the patch today, though he can't reach. I've booked him in for the Vets on Monday and hopefully he'll be mite free asap!
