New Kit
Hello, I'm new here and wanted to say "Hey" to everyone:wave:
Just a bit about myself....I've been a vet tech for almost 16 yrs now. I've had house bunnies before that both died of old age within 2 weeks of eachother. They were spayed and neutered and were the best.
After they passed on, I said I wouldn't get anymore and well 4 yrs later I adopt a 1yr old Cinnamon male named Seymour from animal control. He's been neutered and here for about 4 months. Then New Year's eve night I saw an English Angora online and in my area. We went and got her New Year's day. She'll be 2 in March and we spayed her at work yesterday. I also shaved her whole underside off b/c of mats and trimmed her up. We named her Truffles.
I don't know if I"ll ever try bonding them or not but will working on letting them play together. Or course that will be after she's recovered from being spayed. I have them set up next to eachother. My male has wonderful litter box habits!!! He's out every evening when my parrots are out and has never pee'd or left pellets on the floor...he goes back to his box.
Other than bunnies, I've had guinea pigs before. It's a crazy zoo here!! I currently have 7 dogs, all were rescues but one.....the only dog I have ever bought from a breeder. I have 2 cats rescues also. I have 9 snakes and 1 south african toad. I have chickens outside and 13 birds in my house from finches to my sweet Hahns Macaw.
I forgot to add a pic of the bun buns... I hope I'm doing this right for this forum??
