Our gorgeous girl has lost the use of her left front paw We knew it was going to happen as her spine is twisting an awful lot and it has been getting worse and worse Today she cannot use that leg and with her back legs crossed under her, and the spine twisting it's all become too much for her
We tried her in her cage this morning but she is unable to use it We have her in her carrier in a hooded cat bed which she loves, but we don't know if she is going to accept this change or not
We had thought of putting her in Speedy's bed but it's too big for her as she can't get around at all now She is trying to but she is just rolling
She has been stressed today so her little head has been going from side to side like mad She has calmed down now but her head is still twitching, and we know it's not just stress or the fact that she is blind - we know it has something to do with the nerves in her spine
If Fliss won't accept this change to her body or her environment then there is nothing else we can do She has been such a brave girl and has fought to have a good life since she joined us in September 2006 - we love her so very, very much
We really and truly don't want to lose her, but we know it's down to her now A vet couldn't help either as there is nothing can be done for her spine. She is not in any pain or discomfort - thank goodness for that.
Please, please send all the vibes you can to her - she means the world to us and we just want her to be happy If she can accept this big change in her then we would be so very happy - but we understand as well if she can't
We love you Fliss, keep fighting if you can baby girl
