Mystery Scabs

This is not a current condition so i can not take pictures
But when Toffee was a young bun he used to get like these scabs on his nose, very hard jelly-like consistency. They used to peel away from the fur where i'd cut them off.
Does anyone have any idea what this could have been?
T is 7 now, so this was 6+ years ago.

After someone else's thread, i just though i remember that thing Toffee had for 6 months or so.
