i now have a new bunny.
but its not the breed i was hoping for which was a french lop from white post farm here in nottingham.
its an English Lop female again. instead but i liked her colour she was.
also she looked like the rabbit with plenty of charictor.
as she came to the hutch door to meet me.
she was with her sister in the same hutch at white post farm.
the farm staff wanted both to go together. but i could only have 1 of them due to space in the house. sad i know.
so i left her sister behind at white post farm. mind you she was not very confident the sister that got left behind. she never came to greet me she just was to scared to come close unlike the 1 i took home.
any way the rabbit i took home is 6 months old. so not far off from being 1 years old.
but she has been fed since little on horse pellets. so she has a lot of energie to burn off when ever i let her out of her cage.
she was born on 9th June 08. acording to the staff at white post.
she came along with her sister from a specialist breeder. befor she ened up at white post with her sister.
and yes she has a name now. took me over till boxing day to come up with a name for her and her name is Luna. as in the moon in the sky.

so far she is being litter trained in the house as thats where she now lives.
befor Luna. and her sister i left behind lived in a spaceous hutch with not much to see out of.
hardly any one walked past their hutch so Luna is a bit skitish when you walk past her. if she catches you with the corner of her eye she runs away from you.
cause she's not use to seeing peoples legs move past her but Luna is slowly getting use to this .
Luna is quite brainy as well. she works things out in her head befor she does them.
Luna loves carrots a lot .
Luna is also very friendly lets you stroke her body and head her head she likes being stroked the most .
Luna is very nosey into everything has had nibbles out of a couple of indoor plants .
also jumps up on to shelves and things that interest her .
as she was kept in a hutch for so long. she wee's on the kitchen floor at the moment not good. that's why iam trying to litter train her to use her litter box.
urm! she seems to of just today grasped the idea of useing it to drop her poo balls in but not wee'ed in it yet.
but she's a fast learner this bunny is.
my last rabbit poppy was not so bright as this bunny.

oh 1 more thing to say sorry .
when she was a little rabbit at the place where she and her sister were bred Luna had 1 of her ears trod on by either her sister or the person who was careing for them at the breeder place where she was bred .
so Luna has a peice of her ear missing at the edge which is healed and all right.
white post staff gave her a full check up befor i left with her for home.
