my old flopsy is poorly ...:(


gone to feed her this morning and she is covered in wee ...and there is blood in it ... :cry: :cry:

she gets intermitent bladder infectionas since her emergency spay in the summer (she had uterine cancer )....but not been as bad as this before :(

im scared the cancer may have spread to her kidneys ... :cry: :cry:

She doesnt seem in pain ...

ive started her on baytril and a low dose of painkiller amnd ill monitor for the next 24 hrs to see if there is any improvement .. :(

Im no Rabbit Expert, but shouldnt you be taking her to the Vets!??

Tons of vibes for Flops.
I'd try to encourage her to up her fluid intake as much as possible today.
Sub-cuts would be good if you can give them.

vets would only do what i am doing ... i have her meds here .. :)
she has had similar condition before ...just not this bad ...

if no improvement i will definatly take her to the vets ..;)

she isnt dehydated ... has drunkl loads in the night .. but ill keep a close eye on fluid intake .
