Rabbit found in Bingham, Nottinghamshire

abbymarysmokey

Wise Old Thumper
Male rabbit found wandering in Bingham near Nottingham on 4th December.

He is currently with Honeybunnies Rescue, and will be rehomed if no owner comes forward.

Vets in Bingham have been informed, and I am going to phone the local RSPCA tomorrow to find out if anybody has reported him missing.

If anybody knows of good places to report lost pets in Nottingham, please let me know.

I know of one that is missing in Southwell near me..... not sure it could've wandered that far though. What breed/sex/colour is it?

EDIT: Sorry just seen male - DUH

It's unlikely to have travelled that far, but if you give me a brief description of the missing bun, I can let you know if it's the same one. I don't want to post a description in case somebody falsely claims the rabbit is theirs. Remember that sometimes owners aren't sure of the sex of their rabbits. :)

No, unfortunately it's not the same bun :(

This bun has obviously been handled and cared for at some point, so I think somebody might be missing him.

Nottingham radio stations are good to contact, the rspca will give you a list of people to contact also. Evening post also, you can submit online now aswell.

I will keep eyes peeled but Bingham isnt really near me, to far for a bun to travel.

the places i looked when i lost my rabbit were: local papers, local shops(put adverts and flyers up) rspca lost pets.... local vet surgerys all had a description, try scanning for a microchip, put up some found posters in major shops obviously just say rabbit found please ring for more information.

We have had a call from some people in Nottingham to say that their rabbit has gone missing again (black lop, very friendly, uncastrated - photo on our website, complete with collar!!). This makes me really mad as we have had their rabbit handed in to us before and reunited them after doing a publicity campaign in the Evening Post. You would think they would take more care of the poor boy this time. Think they were Bulwell area tho.

Amy,

The notice has been put up in Nottingham, Arnold and Newark just in case.

He really is an absolutely beautiful boy :)
