A mini lop???
Ive been looking at them as i think they're gorgeousss.
but.
thats more of a house rabbit
and mine will be out in the garage.
Just in case its what you mean a guinea pig cant be housed with the rabbit. If you get a rabbit I would recommend getting 2 (neutered) as they are social animals. A rescue centre will have pairs available to re home
I have a mini lop outside, they are just the same as everyother rabbit in terms of needs.
a rabbit is a rabbit really :lol: depends what your looking for in a breed if your looking for cute and fluffy.. maybe a lionhead?
Also guinea pigs and rabbits cant really be housed togeather because there nutrition needs are completley different so they require different types of food (though look similar) and also theres a huge risk your rabbit might spook, thump its legs and the guinea pig end up being on the recieveing end of the thump. Personally, I wouldnt risk putting them togeather, wether a previous pair had lived happily togeather or not
:shock::shock:
Me thinking head and brick wall:roll:
dont judge how i look after my animals ;l
they both lived to very good ages, both ate their own foods, both were toilet trained and both lived quite happily together.
so yeah.
dont tell me how to raise my pets.
Funny.. my rabbit and guinea pig lived happily together for 3 years.
