What does this mean?

What does 6'x8' mean? 6 feet long and 8 feet wide?

Its about the size of an outdoor kennel. I thought I might be able to use it for my rabbits or something.

Wow, that's pretty big. if i could make it secure, I think I'd use it for my ducks since they really need a pen. But later on, once i get my ducks another pen, i'd like to use it as a rabbit cage if I could make the right modifications
