Are these suitable pet carrier?

Hubby bought this yesterday will it be okay as a carrier ? I'm not so sure :?

No they are not but was worried incase a dog went for them at the vets hubby said I'm over reacting

When I took D&J to HolidayHutches once, I am sure this man had two of those with buns in them! They looked rather good actualy

they are very good carriers, and most dogs at the vets are restrained enough not to do any damage to it, but the thing I have found that was bad with my bunnies was they they like to dig and scrabble, which wrecked it, (it took awhile, but it happened) so with bunnies I think the life span is less then a a plastic/metal carrier.
