Are damson tree branches suitable for rabbit chewing?

Hi all
Just a quick questio as i'm on my phone, but are damson (similar to plump) tree branches suitable for rabbit chewing?
Havin a tree chopped down and want to keep some if it's safe. Not been treated at all.

I've got a feeling plum trees aren't good for them, although I may be getting muddled with cherry trees.

Either way I would definately wait for the branches to dry out for a while. I think it is the sap in the branches that isn't good for them :?
