My boy-rabbit Lupin is very affectionate to both me & my boyfriend. We both treat him the same, give lots of fuss & nose rubs, in fact Al probably cleans him out & feeds him more often at the moment - he certainly gives Lupin more treats than I do! Lupin gives me far more licks, sometimes proper washes, & sometimes so much I have to keep pushing him away. Al only gets the occasional lick & has to earn it.
Al sometimes works away, and during these times Lupin will jump up on my lap sometimes for up to 20 mins or so. When Al is not away, even when he is not in the room, Lupin will not sit on my lap! It's like Lupin knows he has to look after me when my boyfriend is away!
Has anyone else experienced this with their bunnies?
