Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

I have these http://ukpetsonline.com/detail.aspx?ID=352
Male is at the bottom , female was at the top.

If anyones seen these or has them. You'll know the bottoms of the cage pushes up. Which for me makes it easier to clean.

After months of having them. Male rabbit pushed it up somehow. and had his wicked way with my female. They are both 2 yrs old. This happened this morning/during night possibly. But were not like that when i put them to beg last night.

When do i take her to the vets etc? I had a rabbit last year and with the winds being so strong it knocked my old cages over and it opened the doors. And thats how she got pregnant. It was a perfect pregnancy, till she gave birth and died of shock. She was 2 years old also.

Please can anyone give me sites an links or advice, and how likely is my female to die of shock like my old rabbit?

I would suggest an emergency spay because at two years she is too old to have a first litter and she will probably struggle with kindling because her hips won't be flexible, and she will be likely to get stuck kits (especially if your male is bigger than your female), which would require an emergency spay probably, and could result in possible death.

I agree with Sky-O.

Also, the hutch is too small for the separate areas. If you get the female spayed and the male neutered, they could bond and live together happily.
