Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Reaction to myxi jab maybe?

Hi
Took Gwen to the vets yesterday for myxi jab. Even though she's two we've only had her for a couple of months its only her second ever jab, her previous owners thought you only needed to vax bunnys once!!
Anyway she was great at the vets didn't need to hold her or anything but.. this morning when I went to uncover her hutch she had pooed and quite a sloppy one in her bedroom! She is litter trained and has never done this before. Could it be a reaction to her jab ...or... my other thought was it was scarily windy/noisy last night could she have been scared?
Thanks

It could be just because she was scared by the trip to the vets, poor bun.

Is she active and eating properly today?
