Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

My friends sneezy baby bun

I'm really worried as my friends new to bunnys (as am i pretty much)

shes had a baby lop from p@h rescue who apparently was with a boystrous family before.

(i dont blame her for getting him as obviously shes new to it and felt sorry for the poor thing)

as always the shop haven't told her much about him and he hasn't had his vacs etc which ive told her to book him in for.

i also have a feeling he is a she but told her to get him checked when hes vacsd.

anyway, he is a tiny thing and very skinny, but he eats plenty.

he also sneezes A LOT and has a little snotty nose, but its clear discharge and his soles of his feet are a little discoloured but she said they arent as bad as they were.

I personally think shes needs him fully checked at the vets but is there anything I can tell her in the mean time. ie things to keep an eye out for?

Thank you.
