Any easy way to clean plastic litter tray?

I have 4 cages on my back porch, and they are all the Hava Hart 30 X 36 kind with the plastic litter tray. I take the trays out a few times a week and hose them into the compost bin, but there is a build up over time that consists of hair, etc. I have even tried pressure washing them now and then, and it still is VERY difficult to remove. Anyone come up with a good way of keeping these trays fairly clean? I would like to get them really tidy about once a month.

Try sprinkling with bicarbonate of soda then pouring on white vinegar, the fizz works wonders.

I will test on one tomorrow. Sounds like it could be a good idea. I have sprayed them with cleaner and used a brush before, but no real success. I just want to keep the buildup down, for i figure the cleaner the environment the better health for the rabbits.
