Crazy Moults

loopylop

Wise Old Thumper
Anyone else's bun having a crazy moult? Sophie has been moulting for ages (and the more I type moult the weirder it looks... :? ) and the fur is just coming out like mad! At the minute, its all coming out by her skirt but the poor thing looks a right mess and it's been like it for ages! Anyone else having the same trouble? :?

I've been giving her some dried pineapple and papaya which definitely helps but it just doesn't seem to be getting any less :?

Any ideas?! :?

Frankie is always in the middle of a crazy moult - normally he ends up with big tufts of fur by his bum and eyebrows. He spends weeks at a time looking like Denis Healey

Vinnie has been moulting badly he is covered in bald bits looks really scruffy!
Miffy has just about finished, porky and shadow have just started!

funny u shud say that, none of mine ever moult that bad, but mum brought cookie home from work the other day and hes moulting soooo bad he looks ike hes wearing a dress, and when i stroke him LOADS just falls out.

i groomed himf or half an hour yesterday lol

Teddy has been moulting for months, in the craziest patterns. My boyfriend said he look like a map from google earth!

Harriet is moulting from the centre of her back outwards in all directions - no idea if this is normal or not

yep rolo is too! She is always moulting despite being an outdoors bun. She always looks like a map! or a monk...

Fidget has finally stopped moulting... she looked awful, whenever anyone saw her I was like, "I'm not neglecting her, she's moulting!"

Hi Laura

Mango is having a mad moult too! It's been going on for ages, and just when you think it's stopping, it gets really bad again. Even her (cute ickle) FACE is moulting, which I've never known before. What's really strange is that Chutney just had a normal few loose hairs kind of moult, yet poor Mango looks so tatty

Kisses to Princess Sophie

Huppie is moulting big time! She looks like some kind of diseased disaster area, every time I stroke her enormous tufts of fur coming wafting out. The only indication that I am not evil is that the moult seems to be going in order - currently her sides and bum look like a war zone but her back is all shiny and lovely. Hopefully it will be sorted out soon!

Phew, glad it's not just Sophie! Poor girl... princess sophie is looking rather scruffy  It just seems to be going on for soooo long and she is losing so much fur! :?

i havent seen pebble moult since i got her, nearly a yr ago, she was in HUGE mault then.... but not since :? :?

carrie is molting beautifully in striaght lines biggles has finished but he always lookd like ive been tearing chucks off him, and doc has invisable fur the brush has none he looks pristene, and yet my lappy is covered in fluff and its all up me nose, and as i have all my buns bar one have white in them its even more fun  im betting on a cold winter with all this fluff

Mos' decided to start moulting again! He looks like a homeless rabbit at the moment I can brush him and brush him but more just keeps coming

Took Pea and Pod to the vet on Friday for their VHD jabs and the vet said they were the tidiest bunnies he'd seen for weeks! Apparently every bun he's had in (they're a rabbit specialist so they see a lot) has been looking decidedly moth-eaten.

Pea and Pod don't seem to have moulted much at all this year but poor old Parsnip was looking tatty for months and months. He finally seems to have finished now.

My daughter has pulled a wad of fur off Tinkerbell over the last couple of days which is about the size of a hamster :lol::lol:

The fur is all loose and sticking out either side of her, she is sooo scruffy looking.
