  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

I have just been sat outside watching harley playing and spot started sneezing so i went up to his hutch and his nose looked a little wet so i got him out and brought him in side to check him and he snotted on me  it was a creamy colour this is the first time he has sneezed like this i haven't changed anything in the hutch but i have put hay in the main part of the hutch now as it has been a little cold at night.

Now i'm thinking it's proberly dust that has made im sneeze but though i would check with you guys

Any ideas

My first thought would be a one of sneeze, something up his nose he wanted rid of.

Keep an eye on him to see if he sneezes again or not. If it looks like its happening a lot might be worth a look at the vets.

Thanks for the reply :D Thats what i thought as his nose is clear now and his breathing sound fine.

Will keep a eye on him and will tke him to the vets if need be :)
