do you use it to fill the bedroom part of the hutch or do you use something else?

im just worried that moo and casp will be cold, but they eat all the hay i put in so end up with an empty room by morning.

I use straw in a box if its super super cold, but usually i just have a carrier lined with blankets.

Yeah I do, If you cram the whole bedding bit full of hay they wont eat it all by morning. Just make sure they have loads in their normal places (litter trays etc) and they will more than likely barely touch the hay in the sleeping compartment

I use the DFH barley straw as the main bedding (it's lovely and soft and a great insulator) and put some hay on top.
