Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Hi

We found a rabbit in the car park at work, very tame but quite skinny so we have fed him and gave him a plate of water. He has ate lots but I don't think drink that much. He hadn't been to the toliet until about an hour ago, but has had about 5 wees in this time. Is this sometime to be concerned about?

He's going home with me tonight - I have a spare rabbit cage top which we will have to make do with until we find the owner.

Hiya :D

Sounds like he's been abandoned unfortunately.. unless there's houses around. I would call up the RSPCA to report it and check the paper for missing bunnies etc.

Weeing varies alot but it sounds OK to me, my girl bun drinks loads even though she's so small, whereas my boy doesn't tend to drink as much.

I would make sure you have hay and or grass available for him to eat.

How's it going with him now? x
