  • Please Note - Medical Advice

Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

We are very grateful to members who take time to answer other members questions, but please do be clear in your replies that you are sharing personal experience and not giving instructions on what must be done.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

I let my 2 bunnys out this morning into garden, came back in2 house to get dressed and when i returned they have for the 1st time jumped up on2 to wall and jumped in2 my half barrel of coriander and polished it off, will they be ok they been having it for over 2 weeks with their last feed but half a barrel :shock:

probably...I would not feed them any more veg today and if they're producing extra cecals, withhold veg till they stop it. are your buns generally sensitive to dietary changes or do they seem pretty resilient?

:lol:There's no hiding anything edible from my lot, so I know where you're coming from.

They must have thought it was their lucky day!!

I only just recently started giving them small amounts of veg but 1 of them is not too keen she gets a dodgy bum, but they both have been fine on coriander and dandelion, not too sure what to try now as lily gets softer poos any suggestions anyone please :?:)

little devils:lol: you may get a run literally on soft poos and maybe a bit of flatulence...hold your nose....but hopefully thats all..hey if it had been mint would the flatulence problem be less smelly?
