lovely chickens...becareful about putting them on such long grass...they can suck up whole strands which the croup can't cope with & they get compacted croups.....think like stasis in bunnys.

A little squirt of vegtable oil in the mouth & rub the crop will sort that.

They are soooooo lovely. You lucky thing

My last chicken died earlier this year, when i move house (soon i hope) i will be getting some more

I suppose you could still call them rescues - who knows where they'dve ended up if you hadn't had them :shock: I'm so jelous, they are beautiful :D
