try a few of those sonic cat scarers as they have certain angled arcs....and if theyre the decent ones have settings for cats...rodents...dogs..foxes....
so you can set cat and it wont affect your buns or dog
my mum cant have her little bun in her garden in a run because her neighbours in her block of four alone have 6 predatory cats:shock::shock:
thats why i had to fence of my garden..well i lie..its to try and retain my two cats whove lived indoors for all their lives so far and will be two end of august.
the bopy was diagnosed last year at his vaccs booster with a heart murmur
so i need to keep him close and dont wnat them leaving the garden anyway....too much roads so many idiots...
oddly enough the boy wont be ok outside without his bunny family being there too...its been too wet for the buns so they havent left the house or even cried to do so..nutters! but anyway i digress.....i havent seen one single cat in my garden.......and i would like to add the securaacat extra topping to my netting but thats another £250! next year!
you shouldnt have to do it i agree but its a problem everywhere..thing is not all cats are predatory..my mum n dad had a cat who chased my half sisters rabbit in its run..but loved next doors bunny..they used to sunbathe together on top of her hutch roof...side by side or curled up:shock:
sadly tho most cats..are predatory....especially the ones who seem to be out 24/7 and have to fend for themselves..dont blamethe cat..blame the owner!
anyhooo heres my cat proofing..all you need to is put a pole or wood struts atop the poles so they make a security fenciung overhang.but not into your garden but the other side...as your keeping cats out only.
heres my attempt at cat proofing..i know theres a wall with hardly any netting but its so high my side and failry high their side.....
