Maybe it would be better if somebody explained politely why it is not a good idea to start breeding bunnies rather than just putting evil faces. That isn't going to educate anybody

OK.

The reason we are here is to re-home bunnies, they may have been neglected when someone has tired of them, they may have been "released" into the wild/countryside, they may have been dumped on a doorstep.

They are all spayed and neutered to try and prevent so many rabbits ending up in rescues (30,000+ per year) and other things that we don't even want to think about.

Thats a very good point and this thread demonstrates entirrly why this forum (in my opinion) has issues.

Rabbits United does not suggest rescue only. It suggests that anoyne who cares about rabbits will be united. Clearly that is not true despite this being a great oppurtunity to educate, we choose to be cynical or mock.

Taken directly from the homepage of Rabbit Rehome

Rabbit Rehome UK allows rescue centres and individuals to enter details of rabbits in need of new homes. Rabbit lovers can then search for rabbits to adopt. We are not organising 'adoptions online' you will need to contact the rescue centre to find out about their homing policy. This site is not intended for breeders to advertise deliberately breed litters or for breeders to find 'stock'. The rabbits here are looking for loving homes as pets.
