Cat litter for rabbitts.

Hi!

We could not get any of the wood based cat litter for Lola this week so had to buy the ordinary stuff, CatSan it is called.

Lola adores the stuff when we put fresh litter in she rolls about in it and bunny flops right at the side of it half in, half out of her litter tray.

She does use it for a toilet but when it is clean fresh litter she seems to really love it.

Is it OK to use this cat litter?

Never used it...is it clay based?....if so I don't think its good for them.

Its only temporary until we get the wooden stuff - its Fullers Earth based - and I change it every day.

I use megazorb which is cat litter for rabbits.

you can use any cat litter so long as its not scented (this is reported to cause liver problems in bunnies), not clumping and not dusty (respiritory problems). Personally i use 'Yesterdays News' which is compressed newspaper into pellets.
