Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Overnight - toilet!!!!

Hi
Does anyone else have Rabbits that don't wee or Poo overnight?:roll:

They seem to manage to do it all day!!!:p:p:p:p
But I put them to bed about 9.30pm and go out to them at 7.00am and they haven't used their litter trays at all. Only to sleep in.
Incidently they have 2 trays each!!!

Is this healthy?

Thanks.

Anyone?

I'm taking them to the vet tonight for a check up after neuter and just wanted to know if it's normal? if not, I might mention to the vet.

Thanks

Bunnie doesn't seem to poop much at night if at all or wee much. Mostly done in day time and evening.

As to whether this is normal I don't know:D

Ours do the majority of pooing straight after we clean the trays out in the morning and evening. It's like they save it all up :)

Kermit doesnt poo or pee at night.....when i get up in the morning i sit him on his litter tray and he does loads of poos and then pees.
