I got a call last night from someone requesting I take 2 rabbits into the rescue.
I don't work on a first come first basis here at the rescue I take in what rabbits most need my help first.
After asking her a few questions it seemed they were at her home and were being taken care of but that she did not want them any anymore.
I said " so they are being fed and watered and have shelter" she said " well I feed them on a Monday":shock::shock::shock: then I don't get back until a Friday!!!!:shock: so these poor rabbits for God knows how long have been stuck in hutch for at least five days with several bowls of food and I am guessing that what water they had would not last 5 days! and we have had some very hot days these last few weeks  Just when you think nothing else can shock you, something always does! they are coming to the rescue today. I am going to have to tie my hands behind my back today when she gets here I can't think of any excuse for what she has done
