My two house bunnies have had their yearly myxi jabs today and I've booked their VHD for a week on Friday - 11 days time. Everything that I've read says they should be 14 days apart. I can only do Fridays now - is 11 days apart ok or should I change the appointment for the following week?
Also, I didn't see that my vet put some of the Myxi jab on their skin. Maybe he did and I didn't see but does this matter?
Thanks!

The vet should be able to tell you if thats a long enough gap.Surely they would have said differently when you booked it if not.

Personally, I would wait until the following week to make sure you allow for the recommended period between injections.

Just recently had this and my vets said no less than 2 weeks and recommended 3 weeks which I did.

i would leave an extra week then as its not worth the helath problems x
All of the vets that I've ever gone to have recommended 2 weeks between these jabs. I would not recommend putting them any closer together. I have interpreted it that 2 weeks is the minimum time you can leave between. I would check with your vet asap, sometimes the receptionists don't know all of the information to help you with making your appointments correctly, I know they should have some idea really but it's not always the way, in my experience!

Id personaly go for three weeks instead of 11 days as you dont want to overload buns system with two vacinations in a to shorter space of time
It's no less than two weeks but leaving it for three wont be a problem.
The reason for this is that it takes 14 days for immunity to form post vaccine, so having them too close together can affect the immune system (an overload). It can also diminish the effectiveness of the vaccine to protect the rabbit, if antibodies do not form properly due to pressure on the immune system to fight two illnesses at once.
