I have two female bunnies which I took from Freecycle called Truffle (Lionhead) & Pickle (Dutch). They are about 18 months now and I think they have been together since they were babies.
They were spayed a few weeks ago and thier behaviour has definitely changed - no more spraying thank goodness and generally calmer buns except.....
Just before feeding time, Truffle chases poor Pickle round and round their run, pulling bits of fur out of her bottom. I can't see any injuries or anything so I think its just fur pulling, but I find it quite upsetting to see poor Pickle being picked on like this. Truffle is definitely the dominant one and Pickle spends a lot of time grooming her and sorting out her long fur. The rest of the time they seem to get on fine and sit quietly together and once the food is down they eat happily side by side.
If this is normal, then fine (kinda :shock but I am a little bit worried
