heres a pic of bobby.please no nastiness or bad comments.thanks.x:)i know he looks as though hes got a runny eye but his previous owner said its something hes always had n hes been cleared by the vets for any eye infections or blocked tear ducts.x

I don't think its ever "normal" for a rabbit to have a runny eye constantly :? I would change vets :shock:
 
i love french lops.she lives miles and miles away so going to take him to my vets see what they say.the other eyes abit the samr but hes blind in that eye.realy spooky cuz its white.x
 
Awww cute. My bugs's eyes are like that, he doesn't have properly formed tear ducts, the vet just said keep the eyes clean :wave:

I'd get his eyes checked again, Blue supposedly had his checked with his old owner but it turns out her had spurs which had grown into his ducts :(

let's just hope this doesn't turn nasty :(
 
he is lovely,

noels eyes are constantly watery, I have been to my vet time & time again and nothing can be done except for bathing :wave:
 
Hes a very lovely boy!

Ive got a bunny who has runny eyes all the time,teeth are fine and it just seems to be the way he is....I bathe them and they dont seem to bother him.

I've had a couple of buns with the same problem, they tend to get sticky in summer but clear up abit around winter.

Bobby is very cute :)

On the subject of runny eyes, I think that some Frenchies are just prone to this condition with no real explanation in some cases. I know several Frenchie owners who see our excellent bunny vet and they too can find nothing wrong and they just bathe the eyes, keep the fur short around the lower lid and get it checked regularly.

yea thats what ive been told.he doesnt seem bothered and she said they are worse when its warmer and in winter they arent too bad.still going to get him checked though.xxxx
 
they are a fantastic breed.ive always loved big bunnies.my mums dwarf lops are the smallest breed i can handle.i cant touch anything smaller.they scare me.:oops::lol:
 
I have a giant that eyes runs constantly and he has not got dental problems or blocked tear ducts, I even saw an eye specialist and he said he just has saggy eyes and I just bathe them.

Very cute bun though,
 
:wave: Hi, forgot to say my sons friends nethie as constant runny eyes and as seen various vets, they have just told her to bathe them, one of them things. Runny eyes or not hes lovely.x
