I bathed Ben's hindquarters this morning as he had a dirty bottom.
I really hated doing this. He is a very nervous and was shaking and squirming the whole time. I tried to get it over with as quickly as possible, but the drying off seemed to traumatise him just as much as the water. He's now lying at the back of his hutch and won't come out.
I'm worried because his fur is still quite damp and I'm scared he'll catch a chill. So I'm wondering whether I should bring him back inside for another drying session - but my gut instinct is to leave him alone as he's had enough stress for now. What do you think?
