Please keep in mind that posts on this forum are from members of the public sharing personal opinions. It is not a replacement for qualified medical advice from a veterinarian. Many illnesses share similar symptoms but require different treatments. A medical exam is necessary for an accurate diagnosis, without which appropriate treatment cannot be given.

You should always consult your vet before following any suggestions for medication or treatment you have read about. The wrong treatment could make your rabbit worse or mean your vet is unable to give the correct treatment because of drug interactions. Even non prescription drugs can do harm if given inappropriately.

Urgent Medical Advice: If you need, or think you might need, urgent medical advice you should contact a vet. If it is out of working hours phone your vet's normal number and there should be an answer phone message with instructions on what to do.

Young Bun
I have two rabbit (one in the picture Mow and Poppet) living together and I have noticed some dropping in the run this evening that are joined together like a chain with fur. Mow is moutling and poppet does keep licking him.

I do have some dried pineapple treats and I have gave both the rabbit a few of these. I not sure what rabbit has produced these dropping.

Is there anything I should do?

Is it a good sign that they are comming out?

Thanks, Louise

Thank you, I have brushed Mow a few times last week, and I'm now covered in scratches he just won't stay still.

They seem to be drinking and eating well, thank you for reassuring me.

Louise

 It would be a good idea to warm him if you haven't already as i ahve been told this can be a sign of worms ( the poo) , our rabbits tend to have it in the heat or when there stressed for some reason ( we haven't had our buns wormed yet but we're planning on doing so).:)

hi

I read you give pinapple well try the actual juice we give ours that now and then a vet told us that trick as its supposed to help with furballs.

Ok, thank you very much, I'll give that a go.

Silly question: What do you give it to them in and how much? :)

Louise

Just to add they have just started a course of Panacur for worming.
