Hi all
Yoda was spayed on Friday and seems to be doing really well. Wen we picked her up from vets the nurse said they had cut her whilst shaving her tum and had to put a stitch in it (looks like theyve chopped her nipple off :( ). Anway on checking today the spay is fine howver this other cut looks open and looks as though the stich has come out. Ive called vets and they want to see her 2moro but im worried theyll give her another GA. It seems fine, she doesnt seem in any pain and looks very clean. Wot wud u do?

I doubt very much that she will need another GA.
As long as the wound is clean and dry it should continue to heal well.
A Vet check tomorrow is a good idea, but I really would not worry too much
 
dont panic..as long as its clean and fairly dry as all wounds ooze ever so slightly like when your healing a grazed knee/elbow or a potato knife cut:oops:

they will assess the healing rate etc........were they external stitches? our old doe pulled 95% of hers out whilst still in recovery..had to be stapled to go home:shock:

I'm sure she'll be fine, 2 of our does pulled their stitches out before they were due to have them checked and they didn't need another GA, just careful watching.
 
I hope Yoda will be the smae then...app at 7pm 2nite...seems to be healing well again this morning :)
