Missing Rabbit

New Kit
Hello All

Our Netherland Dwarf Rabbit Herbert has gone missing over the weekend. He is grey in colour and was last seen Friday July 18th. We live in Up Hatherley on the outskirts of Cheltenham.

If anyone has seen him please get in touch 07788837667 or if you have any hints on finding a lost bunny! I know its a long shot but have to try,

Thanks

Nick & Becky

repleied on your other thread but check a wide area put posters everywhere and put flyers through neighbours doors for several streets try ringing up vets and cheltenham animal shelter too. xx

Yes give out lots of leaflets-post them through peoples doors -start with the area in whiich she went missing then expand each day. you should be able to do 100 leaflets an hour (but you will be tired!) Map your area so you don't overlap places. Get everyone to help -even if they can only do a few leaflets-put up posters -pref with a pic of the bun on.
Search undergrowth and places a bun might hide, - he will be looking for grassy places to graze or possibly other rabbit food left in gardens.
Put rabbit food out and treats in your own garden to tempt him back in case he's not far away.
Ask to check hidey holes in neighbours-sheds etc.
Put posters up in all the local shops, vets etc.maybe offer a reward?

ask mothers with young children/babies if they could put a poster up in their toddler/playgroup/mother and baby cub. They usually have a good social network so will pass info to others and walk lots of places with buggies to parks etc where bun might go.-give them a leaflet with his pic and your phone no on.
good luck -Sue

Also make sure there is somewhere in your garden for him to hide. Sometimes they come home on their own when they realise they want their favourite food and treats :)
