I need to buy a rabbit carrier for my 2 rabbits...I need one that is quite tall (bit like a mary poppins bag ) as Squirrel has jumped off the vets table before  and Spudsey is my little wild bunny who also could jump

I used to put spuds in a cardboard carrier that I got from the vets which was ok but now she is bonded with squirrel :D I need something for both of them...

can anyone recommend something please?

everything I've seen just seem to be normal cat carriers, sure I've seen ones that look more like a bag?

Is it just me, but I don't think I understand what it is that you're after and what's wrong with a 'normal' pet carrier

:wave:I've got two bunnies, one is a very nervous bun who has jumped from the vets table before :shock:and the other is a lickle wild bunny who I've had since she was a couple of days old but shes quite difficult to pick up plus she really does jump! A normal carrier which opens up with a door is no good as both bunnies will just hide in the corner and would need dragging out and they're not v high when you take the tops of them off I'd have 2 bunnies hopping out!

:lol::lol: hope this explains things better as think people think i am being very very fussy!

Arrr ok, got it now I think :lol:

What about something like this: http://www.zooplus.co.uk/shop/cats/cat_carriers_travel/wicker_cat_carrier/13605

Not so far back for them to hide but should be easier for you to block the hole to prevent number 2 from jumping out at the same time!

Are you looking for something that you can leave them in whilst they're on the vets table? Just take off/open the top? This one has slightly higher sides than the average carrier: http://www.pets2home.co.uk/item--Pet-Cargo-Cabrio-Cat-Carrier--570124.html

This won't give a great feeling of security but might stop them jumping out: http://www.pets2home.co.uk/item--Pet-Carrier-Top-Opening-Large-Mesh-46x30x35cm--557480.html Guess you could put a towel over when carrying it.

No I'm happy getting them out for the vet but just need something that they can't just jump out from, and the normal carriers give them too much space to corner themselves

Are they likely to chew? I have a small folding fabric dog kennel which is amazingly usefull. It has a top door, a front door and a side door that all zip. With my jumpy bunny I undo the zips enough to slide my arms in and once I have hold of him I push the zips open with my arms. I put a litter tray in the bottom to give it a firm base and theres plenty of room for 2 bunnies.

ETA - I got it from PAH, but I'm sure other places do something similar :)

chew!? my two?:lol:When spudsey was in my lounge she gnawed the corners of walls so much you could see beyond the brick work! I've seen a fabric carrier which has lots of zips which may be similar?
